The Old Man with hands in B&W is an oil painting which is about 12"x36". The "muse" for this painting is from a Deep Forest CD. It was my first official attempt at an oil painting. and I also was wanting to capture the blur that you can often get with a camera. I'm not sure how successful the blur was but the over all piece was good.

The three boys are exh 18"x24" in acrylic. This is a friend's three kids. Two adopted from Romania....great kids.......I had just watched the movie Waking Life and wanted to capture the "look" of some oe the animated scenes. I had taken photos of the boys and I impoterd them into photoshop to "break up" the shapes of their faces. I then assigned certain colors to each piece and went from there......

The B&W Old Man...just the head....is a pencil drawing. This is a drawing that I did in Ebony pencil.....I love the good rich blacks that you can get with and Ebony pencil. It's muse was a photo in Richard Avedon's retrospective book. This is a shot of his dying father.
